Waste Management Diagnosis for SSENSE’s distribution center
The SSENCE clothing store chain mandated Stratzer to carry out a diagnosis of the waste management of its distribution center in Saint-Laurent. In light of the probable expansion of the company’s activities and the recent characterization performed by Stratzer, SSENCE wished to avoid an increase in the quantities of waste eliminated as well as related disposal costs. Stratzer first proceeded to an evaluation of the waste deposit as well as an analysis of current practices, notably the storage of waste before its collection. From the data collected, Stratzer prepared optimization scenarios including the acquisition of a padding machine to facilitate the reuse of cardboard.
