Integrated Building Design and Waste Management: The Humaniti Project
Some thirty professionals associated with COGIR Immobilier, including LEMAY’s architects, conducted ideation or validation meetings with Stratzer in order to plan waste management in a future mixed-use building. The meetings allowed for the validation of the quantities produced by type of occupant (hotel, school, offices, cafĂ©, restaurant, condo, apartment, etc.), as well as the spaces required for the waste storage and handling equipment. All recommendations had to meet current and future regulatory requirements along with LEED certification criteria.
