Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Area Waste Collection Study

At the City of Mascouche’s request, Stratzer prepared a portrait of the current collection services of the TOD area. This mandate consisted in identifying ways to improve the collection of garbage, recyclables, organics and bulky items for multi-unit housing as well as for industrial, commercial and institutional (IC&I) establishments. The mandate also included an assessment of the financial impacts of the optimal collection proposal. In parallel, a building design and best practices guide was produced by Stratzer (ready to print) for developers and managers of buildings with more than 50 housing units.
