Characterization study of waste sent for disposal
In order to update the knowledge on the waste streams sent to disposal sites, RECYC-QUÉBEC mandated Stratzer to carry out a provincial sampling and characterization. Stratzer worked in collaboration with RECYC-QUÉBEC to plan the field visits, develop a database and train the characterization team. The team coordinated its schedule with 18 disposal sites across the province. In total, 600 samples were collected, sorted and compiled in a database with rigorous quality control.
