Establishment of a recovery network for refrigeration appliances
Stratzer accompanied a group of dynamic entrepreneurs from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region (Groupe CODERR) in the implementation of the extended producer responsibility (EPR) on refrigerating appliances. Groupe CODERR gradually attracted many other entrepreneurs across Quebec, including Groupe Aptas (Chaudière-Appalaches) and Défi Polyteck (Eastern Townships), now known as RIVRA. Stratzer carried out a deposit evaluation, a characterization and an assessment of the outlets for each material. Stratzer also provided strategic support in order to position the group in an advantageous way with GoRecycle, the recognized management organization.
