Stratzer carried out, for RECYC-QUÉBEC, a compilation of all municipal contracts for the collection, transportation and sorting of recyclables in Quebec. This titanic project, which included Aboriginal communities, allowed the creation of a database with a description of each contract (type of collection, frequency, quantity of recyclables, costs, etc.). The project report presents a portrait of curbside recycling, including sorting, for each of Québec’s ten administrative regions. The report was presented to the Quebec government to support the ongoing process for modernization of the curbside recycling system.
