Preparation of an Action plan for the implementation of the collection of organics in National parks
Québec’s Crown corporation for the outdoors and national parks (SÉPAQ) solicited Stratzer’s expertise in order to launch the implementation of organics collection in its network of 46 national parks. Stratzer first carried out characterizations, a survey and research in order to present a portrait of the parks’ waste management. This portrait led to a proposal for improvements regarding the recovery of organics and other waste streams generated. After the preparation of an action plan, Stratzer accompanied the SÉPAQ during the implementation of the organics collection in different establishments.
