Stratzer and Argus share their expertise in waste management

Stratzer has acquired Argus Environnement, a firm specializing in waste management, environmental managementand environmental site assessment.

The transaction allows both firms to share their expertise and resources in waste management. Moreover, Argus’ expertise in the preparation of authorization applications as well as in soil and water characterizations gives Stratzer the opportunity to expand its current range of services.

According to Robert Comeau, founder of Argus, this is a “win-win” transaction where Argus will be able to rely on Stratzer’s resources to better deliver a wide range of services from hydrogeological studies to air emission assessments. For his part, Stratzer’s CEO, Francis Fortin, believes that the acquisition of Argus will consolidate Stratzer’s expertise in waste management while allowing the firm to offer, under the same banner, more diversified services to its clients in the private, municipal and government sectors.
