Characterization study of curbside collection recyclables at their arrival at the sorting center

At the request of RECYC-QUÉBEC, Stratzer proceeded to the characterization of the recyclable materials entering a sorting center. This operation was coupled with a survey administered to collection truck drivers concerning the characteristics of their collection area (urban, rural, single-family, multi-unit buildings, etc.). The characterization allowed for determination of the rate of garbage and organics contaminating the curbside collection.
