Stratzer proceeded to the characterization of the outgoing recyclable materials of a sorting center (RĂ©cup-Estrie). This gave the opportunity to establish the respective proportion of each category of recyclables, including paper, cardboard, multilayer containers and plastics. More importantly, the proportion of contaminants in the outgoing materials was accurately established.
