Curbside Characterization of Residential Waste in Ontario

Stratzer has been mandated by Simcoe County (Ontario) to conduct a curbside characterization study. This mandate, which covers four seasons, will allow the County to evaluate the impact of standardizing collection equipment for single-family homes. Each season, the three waste streams (garbage, recyclables and organics) of 100 homes are sampled and sorted for a total of more than two tons per season.
