Characterization in support of glass recovery

In order to facilitate the outlets for recovered glass, Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) has provided micronizationequipment for the reduction of glass into powder to selected sorting centers. For this pilot project, Stratzer deployed a sorting service with a rigorous protocol to carry out the quality control of the glass powder produced by this equipment. Several hundreds of glass samples were sorted over a period of three years to ensure the recovery of glass.
