Strategy for the improvement of waste collections for IC&I
The City of Terrebonne wanted to improve waste management practices for the industrial, commercial and institutional (IC&I) sectors of its territory. Stratzer accompanied the municipality in order to develop a waste management strategy. Key elements were established to promote performance, including data acquisition, incentives and coaching. A database of the IC&I, including an assessment of quantities of waste generated, was developed. The database allowed for the impact assessment of different scenarios under study and development of the optimized management approach.
