Strategic support in the definition and implementation of management scenarios for certain Waste Streams

The Municipality of the Magdalen Islands chose Stratzer for the development of different strategies for the management of specific waste categories. With in-depth research and concerted work with the Municipality and QuĂ©bec’s Ministry of the Environment (MELCCFP), Stratzer was able to propose management methods for composts, construction and demolition (C&D) waste and waste stored at the Municipality’s Waste Management Center (‘CGMR’). Stratzer made sure the required ministerial authorizations were obtained for these activities and drafted the technical specifications to carry through with the work. In this project, Stratzer had to pay special attention to the insular character of the Municipality during the preparation of the scenarios.
